Nicola returns to the raw state of the material, before any taming of the gesture. Hand-tufted in baby alpaca, it deliberately keeps the thickness and irregularity of the fibre in its most natural state, a technical choice that resists the temptation to smooth everything over. A fibre that keeps its animal memory, almost alive under the hand.

This rug, regressive in the gentlest sense of the word, brings us back to the childhood of touch and to the animal emotion that founds Inata’s DNA: the wild as primal comfort, humankind incomplete without the animal. A vibrant collection, conceived as a return to origins rather than an added layer of sophistication. Here, no refinement conceals the material: it asserts itself as it is, raw and generous, a reminder of the deep bond between humans and animals.
