In the mountains of Peru, salt basins have carved a white mosaic into the valley slopes for centuries. Salt-laden water evaporates slowly under the Andean sun, revealing geometric forms shaped by hand by farmers, generation after generation, in scrupulous respect for the rhythm of the land. Marta draws on this landscape of patience even before the rug takes shape: it is this journey, this measured economy and this transmission of ancestral craft that Inata wishes to keep alive.

Hand-tufted in baby alpaca, the piece gathers the spirit of these age-old basins, where every form is born from a repeated gesture rather than an imposed drawing, echoing the patient work of Andean artisans. A tribute to a landscape shaped entirely by patience rather than by tools.
