Yana

Yana means black in Quechua. Fany Hely found it in the volcanic rock of the Andean highlands, a dark surface that catches the light and keeps its depth. Fine lines climb through it like steps toward a pale horizon, precise and quiet. Each line is placed with care. Made of 92% baby alpaca and 8% silk, the rug holds a soft sheen in the dark, like stone after rain. In Peru, we work alongside the artisans who bring each rug to life, and we pay them fairly for their craft.

Yana carries the spirit of the Peruvian Altiplano, raw and soft at once, like the high plains at dawn.
