Pelusa, a unique throw made of baby alpaca fiber.

A separate creation,the Pelusa throw in baby alpaca is a bubble of softness, an invitation to cocooning and suspended time. Entirely hand-knitted, the thick raw fiber wicks of this very original throw will add volume and warmth to your interior. Its uniqueness is reinforced by its artisanal manufacture, which gives it some irregularities that make it even more charming. To create this original collection, we wanted to change the manufacturing process usually used for our products. That’s why we’ve done away with the step of converting fiber to yarn. The Manta Pelusa is not made from yarn, but from wick of alpaca fiber, because only a very slight twist is performed. It is this work without twisting the fiber that allows us to achieve this amazing result, and to take full advantage of the unique softness of the baby alpaca. Also very important, this ecru model is made without any dyeing nor petrochemical process, but only with the natural colors of alpaca fleece, for incomparable softness.
