Alba

The braid runs through Peru’s textile history, an ancestral gesture passed from generation to generation, a symbol of connection and transmission within Andean cultures. Alba braids alpaca as one braids a memory, hand-woven in baby alpaca, weaving several threads into a single motif that carries meaning for Inata.

This technical gesture, repeated with patience, echoes our pillar of sacred heritage: the braid as a vector between generations, much as weaving once connected humankind to the gods. A piece that carries, within its very structure, the idea of transmission that animates the entire house of Inata. Three threads intertwined tell, on their own, the continuity of a craft we refuse to see disappear.
