Fur Throw

A timeless piece from our collection, our throw is made from 100% undyed natural fur. As a result, it displays a unique appearance in terms of colour variations and physical qualities. Consequently, it bears the unmistakable cachet of a high-end product. Furthermore, like a promise of suspended time and cosiness, this throw will be an extraordinary decorative element. Indeed, it brings rare elegance to any room it adorns.

The fur used to make it comes from alpaca herds living at an altitude of between 4,500 and 5,400 metres. In this tropical climate at high altitude, temperatures vary dramatically. Specifically, they range between 25°C during the day and -30°C at night throughout the year. Additionally, the rainy season from January to March brings harsh conditions. Therefore, the combination of these extreme temperatures and high humidity during this period is fatal for some alpacas.

Together with our partner breeders, we decided to make the most of this loss. For them, it represents both a sentimental and financial burden. To address this, we put them in touch with the best furriers in the country to transform these furs. As a result, this process gave rise to our range of 100% natural fur products.

Moreover, the slight differences in colour and fibre length are also the result of this choice. Ultimately, we use 100% natural materials.
