Unveiled for the first time during Paris Design Week 2021, Chakra is the result of a collaboration between visual artist Sara Badr Schmidt and Maison Inata. Through this partnership, creativity and expertise have come together to create a unique product. Moreover, it is produced in a very limited edition. Entirely hand-tufted in alpaca and silk, it is crafted in the finest weaving workshops of the Peruvian Altiplano. As a result, it captures the softness of these noble fibres and the boldness of the colours carefully selected by the artist.

A journey for the senses, Chakra invites you to relax and recharge your batteries. In this piece, everything has been designed to allow the body to embrace the material’s softness and suppleness. At the centre, a bold colour gradient unfolds, symbolising the progression of the chakras through the energy centres. Meanwhile, the rest of the rug features a subtle and soft tone-on-tone ecru. In this space, everything invites you to embark on a sensory journey. The material, the shape, and the colours all encourage relaxation.
