Extremely soft to the touch, it is also very warm and respectful of the skin. Naturally brilliant, this material transports you to unique sensitive universe providing a feeling of well-being and absolute comfort. Baby alpaca is the rarest, finest and most luxurious quality of alpaca. It does not come from baby animals, but from the first shearing of the alpaca, which occurs when the animal is 1 to 2 years old, and also from a careful selection among thousands of animals across the Altiplano. This will be the finest quality produced by the animal. Today, we work with 34 communities of breeders based over 4,500 above sea level, where the best quality alpaca is found. All our alpacas come from herds raised according to the traditions of Andean breeding. Woven in the purest tradition of the southern Andes by our partner workshops, the fiber is carefully selected to the highest standards. Also, respecting nature, 8 of the 12 colors available in this collection are completely natural, made without dye from the different alpaca fleeces. The other colors are made from Oeko-Tex® certified dye, ensuring respect for your skin and the environment. Our Essential collection in alpaca is also availiable in throws, cushions et scarves.
